After you pass both the written and physical abilities tests, your oral board will be scored. Your recorded oral interview score will be your actual score used to determine placement on the eligibility list with the City of Vancouver’s Civil Service Commission. Candidates are assigned to a background detective, based on the order on the Civil Service List.  The background detective will guide the candidate through the remainder of the hiring process.
